PNCC High-Speed Internet Promotion
Extended Again

Palau National Communications Corporation (PNCC) has announced that the current
DSL promotional rates will be extended again to November 30, 2009, pursuant with
PNCC Tariff Sheet 3.9 (Promotional Offerings).
Due to the popularity of the new DSL rates,
PNCC is extending the promotional offer until the end of November pending the tariff
process to formalize a new rate schedule for DSL services. A public hearing for Tariff Advice No. 7, which includes changes
to the DSL rates, has been announced and will be held on Thursday, November 19,
at 5:00 p.m. at the Koror State Assembly Hall.
The promotion offers Internet speeds that are at least twice as fast for existing
DSL customers and a big discount on entry-level DSL packages. DSL for single computers
starts at only $199.95 per month.
To encourage new
sign-ups during the promotional period, the one-time connection fee for DSL service
has been cut from the tariffed rate of $500 to only $50. Current PalauNet dial-up
customers in good standing may upgrade to DSL service with no connection fee.
